I am extremely disappointed with the insurance policy that was sold to my husband and me. When we discussed coverage, Neal represented the plan as being associated with Aetna. However, when we received our insurance cards, the insurer listed was Detego Health under the First Health Network. Since both my husband and I are generally healthy, we did not need medical services immediately and continued paying our monthly premium of $619 for over six months. Recently, when I attempted to schedule routine annual checkups, I discovered that many of the providers listed in the network directory either had disconnected phone numbers, did not answer calls, or stated that they were not participating providers. I contacted customer service multiple times and was repeatedly sent updated provider lists, but the same problems continued. At this point, I am seriously concerned about the legitimacy and value of the coverage we have been paying for. Additionally, there appears to be no straightforward way to cancel the policy online, which only adds to my concerns.
